4.9 - Map Template

Introduction:

This Template is to be used for all maps and cartographic materials.

When adding new record use the following values:

· Format = MAP

· Entries Template = FULL

4.9.1 – General Template Instructions

a) GMD - Remove the Libraries Australia GMD [cartographic material] and replace with the GMD:

[map]

b) 245 tag – n and p subfields to be added if necessary by individual libraries.

c) 300 tag – add the word map.

d) 336/337/338 tags - Content, Media and Carrier Type tags are validated fields. Select the appropriate entry from the field/subfield entries provided.
